Jawc stands for Just Another Wallpaper Changer or, if you prefer, JAva Wallpaper Changer.
It is a Plugin-Based Wallpaper Changer and can change your desktop background picture from a lot of different sources like your PC's folders, or Flickr, or VladStudio, just depending on which plugins you enable.

Jawc is written using Java and it has been tested to work on Windows, Linux and Mac Os X systems.

I began to develop Jawc because I could't find a wallpaper changer as flexible as I needed. I really like changing very often my desktop but I wanted to be able to get images from a lot of different sources.

It is packaged with a default set of plugins which are a "good starting point" for having a nice looking desktop. Moreover, writing plugins is (or should be) simple enough so that one should be able to build from scratch its own plugin.

Jawc is released under the GPL license so you can freely use it as you like. However, it costed and it costs me a lot of effort into mantaining it up to date. So, if you find it useful, I would really appreciate any donation you would like to make.

Jawc requires Java JRE 1.6
